Anna Zornosa

Anna Zornosa, Executive Vice President and General Manager

Anna Zornosa joined Cobalt in November 2007 as EVP and General Manager of Dealix. At the helm of the most successful provider of sales leads to auto dealers, Zornosa is responsible for the management and strategic direction of the Dealix Division. In November 2009 her work to create the Dealix Quality Pledge™ was recognized by TARGUSinfo, which awarded her its Market Leadership award.

Prior to Cobalt, Zornosa, a seasoned CEO and General Manager, served as Vice President and General Manager for Yahoo! Personals where she responsible for overall management and strategic direction. She also served as Chief Marketing Officer for Knight-Ridder Digital, a unit of newspaper giant Knight-Ridder, Inc., and as CEO of Topica, Inc.

Zornosa has also held senior positions at Women.com and PointCast, Inc. She received her BA and MA from the University of Wisconsin.

Egon Smola

Egon Smola, Vice President of Product and Business Operations

Egon Smola is responsible for developing Dealix's New and Used Car Lead products and ensuring lead delivery to Dealix's dealer and OEM customers.

Most recently, Smola was General Manager with P&L responsibility for Yahoo! Personals. Prior to Yahoo!, he was Group Business Manager at Vodafone, where he was responsible for the roll-out of wireless Internet applications across eight European mobile operators. Before Vodafone, Smola served as Country Manager for Amazon.com, Austria and Switzerland. He also held leadership positions as a Management Consultant with Capgemini and in health care in Austria.

Smola received his BA from the Vienna University of Economics in Austria and his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Kevin Hunt

Kevin Hunt, Vice President of Sales

Kevin Hunt drives sales strategy and execution for Dealix. Hunt has held various senior positions in sales and business development. Most recently, he was Vice President of sales at Klutz Press, an internationally recognized publisher of children's activity books.

Prior to Klutz Press, Hunt held positions at companies such as Berkeley Systems, a publisher of consumer entertainment and business utility software; Pinnacle Systems, a worldwide leader in digital video products; and Ironside Technologies, a venture-backed CRM software company automating customer and supplier operations.

The majority of Hunt's professional career has been spent in high tech. His wide range of experience includes the strategic development and fostering of sales teams and sales channels.

Hunt received his BS in political science from the University of California, Berkeley, where he graduated with honors.

Ed Crawford

Ed Crawford, Vice President of Business Development

Ed Crawford joined The Cobalt Group as Vice President of Strategy and Business Development in May 2002. His responsibilities at Cobalt have included developing long-term strategy and managing the execution of Cobalt's M&A plan as well as key partnerships.  Since August 2008, Crawford has been responsible for developing and managing the Dealix Division's key lead supplier and wholesale customer relationships. 

Prior to joining Cobalt, Crawford held a number of leadership positions focused on strategic planning and new business development, including positions with Nordstrom, Marriott International, and PepsiCo.  He also worked for nearly a decade in Japan, in management consulting with Japan-based Corporate Directions, Inc., and in fixed income sales out of the Tokyo office of Goldman Sachs.

Crawford holds an MBA and an MA from the Wharton School and the School of Arts & Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania (Lauder Institute Fellow), as well as a BA from Trinity College in Hartford, CT.

Chung Lin, Director of Finance

Chung Lin joined Dealix in January 2006 as Divisional Director of Finance.  He is currently responsible for all of Dealix's financial operations and financial planning and analysis.  

Lin's financial management experience ranges from an Internet startup to a Fortune 500 enterprise software company.  Lin began his career as an engineer for an aerospace company and as a business planning and development manager with a logistics services company. 

Lin received his BS in aerospace engineering from Polytechnic Institute (now Polytechnic Institute of New York University) and his MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business.

Tom Landers, Director of Technology

Tom Landers is responsible for the delivery of Dealix's technology and IT platforms and infrastructure.

Landers brings over 20 years of experience working in high tech in Silicon Valley, with both well established and start-up companies. He has worked with a variety of Fortune 100 companies, building custom products, affiliate programs, and partner and VAR solutions both domestically and internationally. Most recently, Landers served as Senior Architect for McAfee (NYSE: MFE) where he was responsible the globalization and VAR program development around "security as a service" (SaaS) and carrier/service provider distribution channels worldwide through VAR programs with many of the world's largest ISPs and telecoms. As a Senior Architect for Network Associates' (NAI) subsidiary myCIO, Landers was a key contributor to the world's first business-to-business security application service provider (ASP). Landers also served in management and senior technologist roles with RealNames Corporation, Quantum Corporation, Adecco Corporation, and Silicon Graphics, Inc.

Landers began his career in technology in 1989 when he developed one of the first HRIS platforms utilizing experience gained from his prior career in finance, where he worked for what is now TD Waterhouse. He also worked in taxation litigation and as an analyst with AT&T and National Semiconductor. He studied finance and economics at Golden Gate University in San Francisco, CA.
